Mexico, Zacatecas manuscript district balance. Lot of 1856 Hidalgo Issue all with manuscript district name reading in various different directions, included are two ½r, one 1r single & three pair and ten 2r singles, all cancelled with Aguascalientes boxed postmark, mixed condition, please inspect.

Mexico, Zacatecas-Aguascalientes, 1864-66, ½r lilac, type III. Third Period (touched at left), cancelled "0" of Aquacalientes (Schatzkes 12), cons. 244 of 1864 and sub-cons. 5 of 1865, in Corbetts' Eagles book he notes only 2r stamps, here is a ½r stamp, F.-V.F., probably unique.

Fifth Period (clear to large margins), a new find, cons. 49, sub-cons. 36, Corbett never saw a sub-cons. 36, cancelled with "Aquas Calientes" (Schatzkes 11) boxed postmark, large to clear margins, Very Fine, NF Unlisted and a review of Corbett show no 4r for the 5th Period.

A wonderful used lot of approximately 244 first issue singles, 47 pairs & one strip of 3, some on fragments, all values included, neatly arrange on stockpages by Districts with a lovely array of cancels in red, blue & black, mixed condition, worth careful inspection as this is a wonderful lot for the specialist (no photo).
