Used collection in Scott album, starting with a few mixed classics, 1869 issues including 6¢ x2, 10¢ & 15¢ type II, small banknotes and bureaus complete to the mid and dollar values, Columbians & Trans-Miss to the 50¢, Wash-Franks with coils, good later with Kans-Nebr complete, Parks souvenir sheets, back-of-the-book with airmails missing only #C13-C15, dues and others, some flight covers with better including #C18 on Chicago flight and FDC's with PM's signatures, also including a small but useful Canal Zone collection mint & used; condition mixed with much useful material, owner's cat $6,500+ for just stamps.

Special study mounted on pages in Elbe album, most issues represented except the 24¢ & 90¢ values and some of the scarce grills, includes a wide range of postmark study with color cancels, NYFM's, various fancy cancels including shield, various grids and geometrics, cross, star, crossbone, numeral and many others, 2¢ issues with 7 grills including grill types and two split grills, 6¢ noting at least 4 grills (one pair), 7¢ grill, 12¢ with a range of shades, 10¢ types including re-engraved, 15¢ issue, 30¢ types including #217 pair, an interesting paper and plate section with paper types including ribbed, double paper, folds, stitch watermark, etc.

Cancellation study: 6¢ Banknote. 70 stamps (one on cover, 8 pairs) on pages, all hand-selected for choice well struck cancels, the array of cancels with geomtric including NYFM's to fancy including wheel of fortune, star including Pittsburg, Pa. star tying stamp on embossed domestic cover, fancy grids and highlighted by a full strike of Devils Mask cancel; condition well above the norm, worth inspection.
