Hundreds of stamps mounted on pages and indentified by Tolman - Shellabear numbers, many of which are listed as the discovery copies, the vast range represented with little to no duplication except for certain cancels on various issues, mostly first issue revenues with occasional 2nd and 3rd, better issues including 4¢ playing card perf'd with socked-on-the-nose cancel, first issue $200 USIR perf'd with Lake Superior & Miss. R.R. Co. (#L-20, discovery copy), includes large multiples and a small section of documentary issues; condition and cancel strikes well above the norm, a premium collection.

Mounted on large pages in binder; many interesting and better items throughout, including full sheet of 1894 General Bonded Warehouse, section of large tobacco & liquor 1874-86 Stamp For Special Tax issues, 1904-31 Imported Cigar Custom stamps, 1891 Meat Inspection, dozens of oversized cigar band issues, nice selection of beer stamps including better, opium, oleomargarine, etc., condition mixed.

Comprehensive collection housed in Scott album, with specialized sections of plate varieties with the vast range of double transfers and plate cracks, plate and inscription blocks and pairs, cancels, many multiples including imprints and oddities throughout; front page with proofs and a scarce bicolor essay, many highlights throughout including 1¢ express imperf multiples and transfer variety, 2¢-5¢ double transfer and cancel section with hundreds of choice cancels, good later imperf and part perf multiples including 3¢ telegraph imperf pair and several part perf, 3¢ playing cards perf x2 and 4¢, 10¢ certificate silk block of 4, the discovery copy of the 20¢ foreign exchange double transfer, 25¢ multiples including #R45a block of 4, #R52b pair, 25¢ issues with San Francisco cancels, #R54a block of 4, mid-range to $1 values again with a multitude of varieties and multiples, #R80c pair and singles, many better $2 & $3 multiples, #R84c block of 4 and 6, #R95a pair, R94a multiples, #R97c shades and multiples, #R98a pairs, R98c block of 4, strip of 4 & 5,#R101c singles and pairs and 4 examples of the $200 including one with blue handstamp cancel; condition throughout is far above the norm with a extensive amount of variety, a truly must see to appreciate.
