Red oval handstamp (which appears to slightly strengthened at top right) on 1849 folded letter from Panama to New York with manuscript "Collect 25 Ct.", cover given to Boyd's City Express with their red oval handstamp applied & pencil manuscript "27 cts" (Collect 25¢ express + 2¢ Boyd's fee), Very Fine and rare, reported to be unique, ex-Wiltsee.

Blue embossed cameo corner card (Mosher NATX-C7) showing steam train on cover addressed to "Henry Esty Esq., Messenger thro Line, Troy" with endorsement "Please deliver at once and oblige Old Frank", flap tear & bit of cover aging at right, Very Fine and scarce.

Thompson & Co's American Express. Printed envelope with Illustrated Train to Fort Dodge, Iowa from Westfield, N.Y., used in 1857 in conjunction with American Express Co. with two different labels, first of Buffalo (Mosher AMEX-L321) and second from Albany (Mosher AMEX-L90), manuscript notation "Paid thru" & pencil "22/-", envelope carried Land Warrant for 800 acres, unnoticeable flap tear extending onto front & just affecting design, labels some what cut in, Fine, an attractive & rare conjunctive use.
