Printed Shaded Map town postmark with manuscript date and "Brainard Clev" imprint at bottom, on buff cover to East Rockport, Ohio, franked with 1851, 3¢ dull red and manuscript canceled, small cover restoration at top right, otherwise Very Fine, a very rare example of this early first type of the printed map town postmark.

Printed Map town postmark with manuscript date, on cover to Rockport, O., franked with 1857, 3¢ dull red tied by indistinct Ohio May 18 town cds, some slight staining to cover at right and tone spot at upper light, F.-V.F., an attractive example of this later unshaded map townmark; with 1987 P.F. certificate.
