Confederacy, 1863, 10¢ blue. Clear to large margins, placed over indicia of a U.S. 1861, 3¢ pink on white entire (U.S. #U34) to Savannah, Ga., tied by light "Richmond, Va." cds, Very Fine, a very scarce 'captured' adversity usage of an 1861 entire.

Confederacy, 1863, 10¢ dark blue. Top margin single tied by manuscript cancel on fresh cover to Lynchburg, Va., manuscript "Nebraska, Va., Aug 19th, 1864" postmark; stamp with selvage folded over cover and cover with partial backflap, Very Fine, a very rare town postmark.
