Block of 4, traces of o.g., large margins except some what irregular at one side, paper creasing & small thin, which are negligible & not visible to the naked eye, Very Fine and choice, a stunning exhibition item, probably one of two known, ex-Pack and Dale Lichtenstein; with 1993 B.P.A. certificate. SG No. 1.

Pairs of each tied by neat "CGH" triangle postmarks on 1860 outer letter sheet (no side flaps) to Graaff Reinet, adhesives well margined except 1sh pair close at right, 1sh light crease which has been lifted & hinged back in place, Very Fine, a rare cover. SG No. 6+8a.

A stunning cover from Cape Town to Hungary franked with 1855-58 1d rose pair + 4d deep blue tied by neat strike of CGH triangle cancel with red Cape Town double circle postmark on reverse, sent via London & Germany with Pesth arrival backstamp, the adhesives with large margins all around, Extremely Fine and choice, one of the most beautiful and important cover of Cape of Good Hope in existence.
