Fancy bluish arced postmark (Williams ELD-1700) with manuscript date "Mch 28, '54" on forwarded cover from Brighton, Ms. to "Greenwood Valley, Louisville, California" & franked with two 1851 3¢ tied by red grids, forwarded to San Francisco with Greenwood postmark & matching numeral "5" rate handstamp with manuscript "Frd" alongside, printed advertising on the reverse for "The Waverly Magazine", some wear & one 3¢ with trivial defects, F.-V.F., a very rare marking.
