Confederacy 1863, 10¢ blue, "frame lines". Block of 4, without gum, clear to large margins showing full frameline at left and most of framelines at bottom, bright color, thins in top left stamp and barely noticeable faint stain spot at right in bottom right stamp, Fine appearance, the only known block and one of only a few large multiples in existence, the others multiples being in strips, a great C.S.A. rarity; with 1979 P.F. certificate.

Hawaii, Stmr. Kilauea Hou,/Hawaiian Mail Service/Jul 18, 1884. Sharp complete strike of blue double circular date stamp (Davey 366) on cover to Punahou, Oahu, franked with 1883, 3¢ rose canceled by manuscript "Keanae "(Maui) cancel, "Honolulu, H.I., Jul 19" cds at left, Extremely Fine, thought to be the finest known example of this inter-island steamship postmark.

Complete sheets of 50, o.g., never hinged, nicely centered overall, rich colors, perf separations affecting most sheets and staining mostly in selvage (not affecting 6¢ sheet) and affecting a couple stamps on 5¢ & 12¢ values, otherwise F.-V.F., still and attractive and very rare set of full sheets.
