U.S. Mail/2/City Delivery/Paid. Red double circle postmark with "Paid" attached at top tying 1851 3¢ brownish carmine (Pos. 28L3, large margins except just touching frameline at bottom left) on cover with attractive printed corner card of the "Albany Iron & Saw Works" in Albany, N.Y., part of flap missing, also included is small stampless ladies' cover with red handstamp of same, Extremely Fine, a great rarity with this marking on the 1851 3¢, ex-Jessup.

Carrier, 1851, 1¢ Eagle. Close at right & small stain, tied in combination with 1851 3¢ dull red (touched at top) on 1857 cover to Pennsylvania by blue "Cincinnati, O." cds, original enclosure included, F.-V.F., a nice usage from Cincinnati.

Carrier, 1851, 1¢ Eagle. Four large margins showing parts of dividing lines on three sides, tied in combination with 1857 3¢ dull red, type II on folded cover to Philadelphia by bold blue "Cincinnati" cds, handstamped fancy "Philadelphia Rec'd/Oct. 5" marking, cover with some trivial edge wear & tear at bottom, the interior has been silked to prevent further decay, still Extremely Fine, a scarce and beautiful usage from Cincinnati.

Philadelphia, Pa., U.S.P.O. Despatch, 1850-52, 1¢ gold on black. Four large even margins, tied by red Star cancel with second strike at right on 1851 cover in combination with 1851 3¢ dull red (just touched at right) tied by blue "Philadelphia" cds, Extremely Fine and choice, a stunning rarity in this immaculate condition and perhaps the only known cover with this combination showing the Carrier tied on cover, ex-Gibson.
