Illustrated design (Milgram JB-11, Rarity 3, 1-5 known) showing the Candidates holding Flag atop the "Platform" with Eagle & Shield below on buff cover for the 1856 Democratic Party campaign, franked with 1851 3¢ dull red (large margins to just touching frameline in bottom right corner, minor wrinkle at right) tied by decorative "East Boston, Ms." cds, Extremely Fine and rare.
