Tied in combination with 1870-71, 2¢ red brown on 1871 folded letter to Bordeaux, France, "New Orleans, La., Nov 8" origin cds, sent via New York & London with various accounting markings, small sealed cover tear at top, Extremely Fine, a lovely mixed issue combination (sold for $2,200 in 1982); signed Ashbrook.
