Mexico, Oaxaca, 1861, 2r black on pink. Tied by manuscript cancel on 1862 cover from Jamiltepic to Oaxaca, stamp with light horizontal crease, F.-V.F., a very scarce usage from Jamiltepic.

Lot of Fourth and Fifth Periods (the only ones) with ½r (one unused with inverted overprint at bottom), 1r (1), 2r (7) including two scarce cons. 88 used in sub-offices without sub. Overprint, 4r (1), also a lovely 2r folded wrapper from Oaxaca (Schatzkes 1029) to Puebla, Very Fine overall.

"Oaxaca 30-77" overprints, tied by bold "Franco en, Tlacolula" oval handstamp and manuscript "Tlacolula, Agusto 21 de 1877" postmark on partial cover front, large fancy eagle and scroll handstamp at top from the Tlacolula court; minor toning around stamps, F.-V.F.
