Mexico, 1886-87, 1c-25c Numeral issues, cut-to-shape proofs. Set of 10 denominations, 1885 1c green, 2c carmine & 5c blue (colors prescribed by the U.P.U.) and complete 1887 issues in scarlet; each with 2.5mm punch hole and mounted by hinge on ivory cardboard; couple with light staining from hinge, still Very Fine, a rare proof set; 4c signed Hamilton.

Mexico, 1886 Numeral issues, Coleccion overprint. 5 stamps, 2c-4c, 6c & 10c denominations, couple with paper adhesion on gum, 6c no gum, Fine and scarce, the purpose for this overprint has not been ascertained however they where probably prepared for archival purposes.

Mexico, 1886, 2c lilac, finished trial color proof + 3c lilac. Grid canceled on 1887 post card to Orizava, matching Franco, En, La Esperanza oval handstamp alongside; few small insect holes with one affecting 2c, F.-V.F., a rare and early postal usage of a trial color proof, with one other such usage known; with 1976 MEPSI certificate.

Mexico, 1886, 5c blue + 20c lilac. In combination with 1887, 10c scarlet on 1888 cover to Paris, France, tied by "Mexico, D.F., 18X, 88" cds's, reverse with Eagle Pass, Texas and New York transit postmarks; stamps with tone spots and creases, Fine, a rare usage of the 1886, 20c lilac.

Cover and 5 used singles; 1888 cover to London, England with "Departmento De Contabilidad" corner card and "Ferrocarril Interocean, Acapulco a Veracruz Lo., Mexico" embossed on backflap, franked with 12c lilac tied by partial Mexico cds, off cover stamps with two 12c, 20c and two 25c, all with town cancels, 20c with thin, F.-V.F.
