Mexico, 1891-95, 10c vermilion, plate number study. Of both plates 1 & 3; plate "1" includes two mint blocks with full central number, singles on cover showing partial number, used including two singles and pair (perf variety), plate "3" includes mint block and single, single on cover and 3 used singles, one showing full number in margin; condition mixed, F.-V.F. overall.

Mexico, 1890-95, 12c vermilion, reprint study. Includes mint single, strip of three and block of four, on piece pair and in combination with 1890-95 3c, on cover with single franking to London, a pair on certified cover from Orizaba in combination with 1890-95, 1c yellow green, also a double registered wrapper usage to Germany uprated with two singles (Voos correspondence); a nice group, Very Fine.

Set of 4 denominations, 1p, 2p, 5p & 10p values in deep scarlet, cut-to-shape with 3.2mm security punch hole mounted on card, also a 1p & 10p value in carmine (issue color) with full margins and 2.5mm punch hole, Very Fine, the 1p and 2p values were never issued.

Natural s.e. at right, tied by "Mexico, D.F., Dic 26.94" cds on registered cover to New York City, endorsed "Cerificada con, United Nations timbre de $10 Diez pesos" at top, Mexico registry etiquette and receiving backstamp, Extremely Fine, a major rarity of Mexico as this is the only known example of the 1892, 10p Numeral issue on cover.
