Mexico, 1895, 1c-10p black, "Almanaque" reproduction sheet. With Post Office scene illustrations in blue and legend in red, sheet reduced, two light horizontal file folds & mounting adhesion at edges, Fine, very rare, with only 4 recorded sheets in philatelic hands.
Estimate    $1,000 - 1,500.

With special concession of the Secretary of Communication, this sheet was printed in the Government Printing Office used the original dies of the series.

Mexico, 1895, 1c "Prueba" sample essays. Two perf 14 singles, one in blue gummed, other in vermilion stuck on cardboard with small Specimen perfin at bottom, imperf block of 4 in orange brown with large security print in left margin, Very Fine.

Designed as a sample of by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. for their bid on the production of the upcoming new 1899 issue, to be similar to the current 1c issue with the upper left test banner incorporated into the design.
