Mexico, 1856-61 Hidalgo issues, plate crack collection. 87 mint and used stamps and 8 covers; includes 1856-61 2r plate III bottom margin cracks in various positions including mint 1861 2r black on pink strip of 4 and block of 15, 1861 1r black on green, plate V horiz cracks, various 1856-61, 2r plate III cracks including 1856 position 1 horiz crack with 2 on cover, position 189 large central crack on 1856-61 issues including covers, position 172 bottom margin crack, position 16 & 17 top margin crack including examples 2r black on pink on cover, condition mixed, F.-V.F.
