Uruguay, 1921-26 specialized airmail collection. A fabulous airmail collection mounted on exhibition pages starting with the 1921 Overprint Issue through the 1925 Heron Issue, included are singles, blocks, flight covers, overprint varieties, etc., many better items present including 1921-22 Issue 25c with Black Overprint (two mint, one used on fragment), 25c Blue Ovpt on 1st experimental Airmail flight, 25c Red Ovpt. Inverted (mint single, pair & block of 4, two used on fragment), Red Ovpt. on two Special Flight Cover to & from the 1921 Mercedes Fair, scarce Yellow Green Ovpt. (three mint singles, one block of 4, one used single), 1924 Issue several interesting item including complete set of First Day/First Flight covers to Buenos Aires (one set with singles & one set with blocks of 4), the 1925 Heron Issue is well represented including mint & used singles, blocks of 4, blocks of 20 (mint), several Aug. 25, 1925 Flight Covers with multiple frankings including the 1921-22 Overprints (some with Overprint errors), plus much, much more, Very Fine, a collection that is ready to be Exhibited & Win Medals (no photo).

Uruguay, 1856-1914 forgery reference collection. Album, stockcards & misc. album pages loaded with hundreds of forgeries in singles, multiples & sheets, predominantly of the issues until 1867, many different forgers represented including a few Sperati's with well executed to crude forgeries present, much write up included identifying the forgeries, mixed condition, a great lot for the specialist (no photo).

Uruguay, 1869-71 British Post Office Abroad. Lot of 2 fragments & one cover all with Great Britain frankings with barred oval "C28" of British Post Office Abroad in Montevideo, included is fragment with Great Britain 6d + 1sh + Uruguay 1866-67 10c Numeral, 2nd fragment franked with Great Britain 6d (two strip of 4, one stamp defective) + 1sh (strip of 3), last is a cover to London franked with 1sh (creased) with red British Post Office cds on Montevideo alongside, Very Fine.

Comprehensive old-time collection displayed on quadrille pages, from first issues on with multiple copies the rule in shades, strong 1859 issues with on piece and sign items, range of cancellations, etc., 1864 issues with an excellent range of shades, later issues with good studies including mint multiples, plate varieties, better items-sect on piece, good Officials, airmails, etc.; condition mixed with lots of better throughout, well worth careful inspection (no photo).
