Tied by grid on 1868 Ladies' cover to France with light strike of purple "Philadelphia/Paid 6" postmark, cover forwarded within Paris with various backstamps including blue Forwarder's handstamp "Achemine Par Hottinguer & Co. de Paris", cover placed in mails by forwarder & franked with French 10c Empire Laure tied by Paris star cancel with double circle postmark alongside, original enclosure included, trivial flap tear which extends slightly on to front, Very Fine, a wonderful combination cover.

Pkt., 19" exchange cds, London receiving backstamp; stamp with small corner crease and cover with a few small edge tears and slightly reduced at left, F.-V.F., a very scarce usage from Victoria; with 2006 P.F. certificate.
