1867, 2¢ black, Z. grill, single in pair with horizontal bisect. Manuscript canceled on cover to Eaton Rapids, Mich., with manuscript "Oct 16, 69" date with docketing or town postmark; tear in single not mentioned in certificate, Very Fine, a rare usage of the 2¢ Z. grill however P.F. certificate declines opinion as to weather this is a usage of a bisect; with 1998 P.F. certificate.

Lot 579    

1867, 1¢ blue + six 3¢ red, F. grill. Tied by target cancels and Henryville, Ind. cds on an 1869 cover to Switzerland, marked "Via Ostende" and "Insufficiently Paid" with three backstamps, Very Fine, a most unusual item.

Tied by blue Louisville, Ky. duplex postmarks on 3¢ pink entire to Oberrkirchen, Germany, New York and Bremen transit date stamps and receiving backstamp, P.S.E. cert. mentions stamp with small faults and light toning spots which we find no evidence of, Very Fine; with 2006 P.F. certificate.
