Without gum as issued, gorgeous rich color and sharp proof-like impression, exceptional centering amid well balanced margins, bright and very fresh, tiny surface scrape at bottom which does not thin the paper nor detract from the overall appearance, otherwise Extremely Fine, a beautiful example of this 1879 Special Printing rarity, with only 30 example believe to exist; with 1987 and 1989 P.F. certificates.
