Bright color, ample to large margins, tied by light barred oval handstamp on small 1858 cover to East Boston, Mass., reverse with "Annapolis, N.S., Ap 26" origin and Bridgetown transit cds's, "St. John, New Brunswick, Ap 27" transit cds and red "Paid 10" handstamp applied upon arrival, Extremely Fine, a gorgeous cover, ex Liechtenstien; with 1987 V.G. Greene certificate. SG No. 5.

Canada, 1851, 3d red, laid paper. Each stamp with large margins all around, neatly tied by target cancels on cover to Salem, Mass. full strike of red "Montreal, L.C., Jy 31, 1852" origin cds, Extremely Fine and choice, one of 27 recorded covers with the 3d Beaver on Laid paper to the United States, a wonderful rare usage in exceptional gem condition, ex Guilford; with 2000 V.G. Greene certificate. SG No. 1.

Light face-free grind cancel, beautifully centered with complete design having no perforations cutting into design as nearly always occuring on this narrow margin issue, incredibly rich and intensely vibrant color, an Extremely Fine gem, a magnificent stamp and finest example we have ever had the pleasure to offer; with 1999 P.F. certificate.
