Oval handstamp (Ver 89/1) tying cut-to-shape 1874, 25c blue postal indicia on 1877 folded letter to Burdeos, France, endorsed "Por el paguete francés" at top, via New York and British service with "Ship" in oval handstamp and "T" circle due handstamp, blue "35" rate handstamp and manuscript "1.05" French due, Very Fine.

Mexico, (Jalisco) En La Carnacion, Franco, 2 Sebt (Encarnacion De Diaz). Violet cds on cover front to Aguacalientes, franked with 10c green tied by fancy 'Tarantula' handstamp, "Reciba Despues de Horas Despachado" notation after train departing at the railroad post office, dispatched the next day with "3 Sebt" date stamp and "Despachado" notation, front repaired with portion of postmark drawn in at bottom, Fine.
