Mexico, (Queretaro) Casas Viejas. Oval postmark (Y/B Q84) on folded letter sheet to Queretaro, red "1" rate handstamp, Very Fine, an extremely rare postmark with one other strike known used in 1848, Casas Viejas was the earlier name of San Jose Iturbide.

Boxed date stamp (Schatzkes 1344A) with matching Franco boxed handstamps on 1864 certified cover front receipt to the Post Office administration in San Juan del Rio, manuscript certified boxed date stamp, with receipt docketed for contents of "($28.68¾) En sellos debueltos" devaluated stamps, Very Fine, an important document showing the return of the old "reales" currency issues to make way for the new "centavos" issues.
