Tied by "7" barred oval handstamps on 1850 folded letter to Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land, red "Paid Ship Letter, Sydney, My 6, 1850" oval handstamp below stamps, reverse with "Penrith, My 4, 1850" oval origin postmark and boxed "Ship Letter" date stamp; cover edge wear with some reinforced splitting, F.-V.F. appearance, ex Gibson.

Natural s.e. at right, in combination with 1864, 1sh vermillion on 1868 cover to London, England, canceled by "52" barred oval cancels with red "Launceston, No. 6, 1869" boxed date stamp, red London receiving postmark; light cover edge wear and slightly reduced at right, F.-V.F., a scarce combination.
