Clear neat strike of blue illustrated Running Pony oval date stamp on 1861, 10¢ Star Die entire to New York City, tying 1861, $2 red Pony Express adhesive (large margin to in at left); cover rebacked with left part of front restored and $2 stamp with left margin added and portion of design drawn in, F.-V.F. appearance, still a very presentable example of a third period eastbound transcontinental Pony Express usage.
