"26:16" 20x Rate. Manuscript rate (26dwt 16gr, or 80p) on folded cover to Fredericksburg Va., docketing reads "1780 Andrew Crawford 30 April", vertical file fold and some toning, otherwise Very Fine, a rare example from the 20-times rate period (12/28/1779 to 5/5/1780),only four or five covers recorded.

Collection & Distribution Wagon Service, 1896-99. Small collection of 9 covers and two postal cards with all three cities represented; New York City with #NY-2-b (type 1) & NY-2-a (type 2) postmarks, 3 Washington D.C. usages with both types and 5 Buffalo, N.Y. usages with four different trip usages (trip 1,5,7 & 9), all domestic usages, few corner cards and well struck postmarks throughout, Very Fine overall.
