Confederacy, Manchester, S.C., Feb. 15 (1865), manuscript postmark with matching "Due 10" on wallpaper cover in shades of brown and tan to Doko, S.C., cover endorsed with pencil manuscript "Sumter CH forward to", two letters enclosed, both to same person written the same day by different writers, first letter expresses fear of the Yankees coming, packed up ready to flee, sleep in their traveling clothes; the second letter says they have fled to Sumter running from the Yankees, Very Fine, An wonderful set of historic letters with wallpaper cover.
