1869, 10¢ yellow. Rich color, tied by "New York, Steamship, Nov 20" cds on fresh 1869 folded letter sheet from Kingston, Jamaica to New York City, "St. Thomas, 14/11 1869" transit cds and manuscript endorsement above, Very Fine, a very rare usage from Jamaica.

1875, 5¢ blue. two covers both addressed the 1878 Exposition Universelle in Paris & postmarked on arrival by the rare blue boxed type handstamp "The Yale Lock Postal Bureau/Section des Etats Unis/Exposition Universelle/Paris 1878" (Bomar type P78-01), the first cover is franked with 5¢ Taylor & has the top left corner of the cover replaced & the 2nd is franked with 3¢ Bank Note pair with cover reduced into right stamp, Fine.

Tied by Newburyport, Mass. cds on 1878 cover to the U.S. Commissioner of the 1878 Exposition Universelle in Paris, postmarked on arrival by the rare circular type handstamp "Yale Lock Manfg/Centennial Model Post Office" (Bomar type P78-02) & backstamped by French Exposition cancel, cover fault at bottom left, Fine.

Tied on sample corner card cover by printed "Glen Allen, Virginia, June 4, 1880" cds and fancy star duplex pre-cancel, with red allover illustrated ad on reverse showing International Label Printing building and factory, with original price list enclosure; cover with some light edge wear, F.-V.F., a rare on cover example of this early printed pre-cancel.
