Collection of well over 100 stamps & 69 covers and postal cards; towns including Hakalau, Hilea, Hilo with 1859, 2¢ Numeral (#13) with oval Collectors Office postmark (faulty), many nice later on cover, Holualoa, Honokaa, Honomu, Honuapo, Hookena, Hoopuloa & Kailua with incoming forwarding usages, Kalapana, Keauhou, Kawaihae, Kealakekua, Kohala, Kukuihaele, Laupahoehoe, Laupahoehoe Beach, Mahukona, Naalehu, Napoopoo, Olaa including manuscript, Ookala, Paauilo, Pahala, Papaikou, Pohoiki, Puehuehu, Punaluu, Volcano House, Waimea and Waiohinu including Interior Dept cover usage, includes 1879 letter from Paauhau; condition varies with many choice on and off cover strikes throughout.

Dart, Honokaa, H.I." merchant corner card handstamp, Very Fine and attractive.

Manuscript postmark (MH 801, 1RRRR) on 1882, 1¢ red on buff postal card to Honolulu, "Honolulu, Hawaii, Jan 28" receiving cds and reverse with "Lewers & Cooke, Honolulu, H.I., Jan 29, 1883" oval date stamp in purple, card sent by the Paauhau postmaster Rufus A. Lyman, Extremely Fine, the only example recorded of this manuscript postmark from Paauhau, Hawaii.

Purple cds (MH 253.41, 1RRR) on fresh cover to San Francisco, Cal., red "San Francisco, Paid All, Jan 21" cds and reverse with "Honolulu, H.I., Dec 27, 1885" cds and San Francisco receiving postmark; minor cover wrinkle affecting stamp at upper right, Very Fine, a very rare usage of the Paauhau circular town postmark, with only eight strikes recorded.
