Cds's (McNaught type 7) tying 1894, 1¢ yellow + 2¢ brown, horiz. pair on cover to Astoria, Oregon, reverse with "San Francisco, Paid All, Aug 27, 1896" transit and receiving cds's; few light cover soil spots and corner clip at top right affecting left 2¢ stamp, F.-V.F., a rare New Zealand Marine P.O. usage posted aboard the Alameda.

Oval handstamp (Gregory AUXSH-I-I(PAID), Rarity 1RRRR) on 1882, 1¢ red on buff postal card addressed to Postmaster of Kahalui, Maui, printed message used by the Wilder's Steamship Company to inform them when the steamer "Claudine" would depart Kahului, Very Fine and choice.

Corner card on cover to Ida Grove, Iowa, "Wailuku, H.I., Post Office, Aug 24, 1883" cds's tying 1882, 2¢ lilac rose, two singles, 5¢ blue, three singles added to replace missing franking, Honolulu and S.F. transit cds's, with lengthy 28-page enclosure written on the Pensacola on route from Callao, Peru (written from Aug 5th) to Honolulu (last writing Aug 21st aboard the Steamer Kileawea) letter regarding catching a shark in route, descriptive of Hawaii with mention of Royal Palace and Royal Hawaiian Hotel, trip to Maui, Speckles Mills, and Wailukai with hand illustrated men on horseback in sugar cane, building diagram and hat & whip, etc., F.-V.F. appearance.

Two line handstamp on 1893 incoming cover to Honolulu, franked with 5¢ small banknote tied by Washington D.C. origin machine postmark, "via Vancouver B.C." endorsement at top, San Francisco transit and Honolulu receiving backstamps, some minor cover tone spots, Very Fine, a choice strike of this very rare auxiliary marking.
