Two covers, U.S. #26 tied by "Montgomery, Al., Mar 61" cds on reduced cover to Mrs. Howell Cobb in Georgia, and U.S. #26+36 used on repaired cover to France, with "Donaldson, La. Mar 9" (1861) cds and red "New York Mar 19" exchange postmark, fine appearing lot, Fine appearance.

Nine U.S. entires; all C.S.A. usages including #U10 Sparta, Ga., #U26 (3) two Augusta, Ga. and one Carrollton, Miss. and #U27 (5) including Augusta, Charleston, S.C.(2), Rome, Ga. and Crawfordsville, Ga., few minor flaws and one with small repair, F.-V.F. overall.

Three covers; #26 Camden, S.C. 12/22/60, #U27 Louisville, Miss 1/11/61 and stampless cover from New Orleans to France datelined "New Orleans, 15 Jan, 1861" with "New York Jan 26" transit marking (the day Louisiana seceded); #26 cover slightly reduced, F.-V.F. overall; with 1982 C.S.A. certificate for #26 cover.

Stephens with black "Adams Express Co., Atlanta, Ga." oval date stamp (repaired at top and missing backflap), second with "Louisville, Ky., Jul 30, 1861" company cds, matching "Paid 10" and blue "Augusta, Ga., Aug 3" oval date stamp (repaired and reduced with couple backflaps added), Fine appearance; latter with 1997 C.S.A. certificate.

Large blue oval handstamp with manuscript "Pd2/s" (two bits or 25¢) Express charge on 1860-61 3¢ Star Die entire cancelled by nice clear strike of "Adams Co. Ex./Louisville Jul 30, 1861" cds with small "Paid 10" straightline paying postage to Statesville, NC, a Superb north to south use, ex-Rosenberg.
