Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue, Archer & Daly printing. Horiz. pair, four large margins, neatly tied by bold "Jackson" (Miss.) straight line postmark on cover to Coffeeville, Ala., Extremely Fine and rare, one of the few Confederate straight line postmarks & an unusually clear strike as this postmark deteriorated very early, pictured in the Bush book on Confederate fancy postmarks.

Confederacy, 1862, 5¢ blue, Archer & Daly printing. Two singles, different. shades, slightly in to large margins, hint of light toning, tied by "Richmond, Va./Jul. 26" cds (Powell type 7d) on 1863 cover with all over shaded advertising in bluish green for Wholesale Grocers, addressed to Massie's Mill, Va., Extremely Fine and attractive, a lovely advertising cover.

Two four margin singles (top stamp small tear), tied by violet "Pendleton, S.C." cds on inside of turned cover made from Printed Business Form to Columbia, S.C., cover turned & used with 1863 10¢ blue (large margins, light crease) tied by blue "Columbia, S.C." cds & used to Anderson C.H., S.C., Very Fine, a wonderful adversity usage on a turned cover with a violet cancel.

Horiz. pair, close to large margins, right stamp tiny corner crease & toned specks, tied by scarce blue "Richmond, Va./May 26, 1863" cds on mourning cover to Charleston, cover forwarded & franked with 1863 10¢ blue (four margins, couple tiny toned specks) tied by bold "Charleston, S.C./May 29" cds to South Santee, Very Fine, a lovely forwarded usage on a mourning cover with the scarce blue Richmond cds used only May 14-30, 1863.
