Mexico 1856-61, ½r-8r Hidalgo issues, Guadalajara. A group of 20 stamps with 1856 ½r blue 2 copies, 1 is gigantic, 1r yellow, 6 with 2 pairs, 1 with Cuale Monogram cancel (Sz. 377) other with red "Franqueado en Tepic" (Sz. 409) on piece, 2r green with stitch watermark (scarce), another with (Sz. 409) and 2 other shades, 4r red, 5, two 4 margins, another with red (Sz. 409) cancel, 8r red lilac unused (no gum) and a 4 margin 1861 4 margin ½r, F.-V.F., nice array.

Mexico 1856-61 Hidalgo issues, Guanajuato. 20 stamps from this district highlighted by nice 1856 4 margin ½ blue, 1r yellow with stitch watermark (scarce), 4r red large 4 margin copy, 1861, 2r black on pink with strong Guanajuato negative cancel (Sz. 480), 2, 8r black on red brown stamps (small faults) plus a lovely bisect on piece cancelled at Guanajuato, F.-V.F. overall.
