Two covers from the same correspondence to Ohio used in 1863, the first is franked with 1862 5¢ red brown horiz. pair with manuscript cancel & "Jefferson, Or./May 4" (1863) cds at left, pair additionally cancelled by light strike of 2nd cds, included is original enclosure, the second cover is franked with 1861 10¢ green single & tied by similar cds also with original enclosure, two more letters from the same correspondence are included, but without covers, F.-V.F.; 5¢ adhesive are quite rare used from Oregon.
