Confederacy, B.J. Terry & Co., Wholesale and Retail Grocers and Commission Merchants, Jefferson, Texas. Boxed corner card on buff cover to New Orleans and postmarked "Jefferson, Tex.,/Jun 14" cds with "Paid 10" type IA handstamps; minor opening tear at upper left and insignificant pinholes with mounting remnant on reverse, Very Fine and choice; a rare Texas Advertising Cover.

Fancy corner card on cover franked with an 1861 5¢ green, stone 2, position 21 with "spur" variety (large margins except just clear at top), affixed over corner card and tied by light four ring target, then postmarked with Williamsburg, Va./Jan 28 cds to Kingston La.; reduced just a bit at right, Very Fine and choice.

Colorless embossed corner card on cover franked with an 1862 10¢ rose (large margins to just in at left margins, small stain at upper right) tied by "Vicksburg, Miss." double circle postmark with illegible date (docketed Apl. 9 - 1863), to Boltons Depot, Miss.; reverse is a large blue cameo-style illustrated advertising for the "Wood & Perot Ornamental Iron Works" of Philadelphia with Cobb, Manlove as agents - obviously a pre-war alliance; couple small edge tears, small bit of side flap (and ad) missing, F.-V.F. and most unusual.
