Approximately 240 stamps with a significant portion ex Allen collection; extensive range of fancy geometric, stars, several fancy Bee cancels including from Waterbury, Conn., negative "O.K.", stars in shield, section of patent cancels and foreign mail markings, Paids, color cancels including blue Wells, Fargo & Co. express and Chicago Supplementary mail, many red N.Y. City geometrics, few multiples including block of 4 and a strip of five; condition a little varied, generally F.-V.F.

1863-67, 2¢ black, Plate Cracks and Scratches. 9 stamps; one with dramatic plate scratch extending diagonally across the whole design, others appear to be plate cracks (some may be scratches), all different including 3 on cover (one with 1999 P.F. certificate noting "Stress Cracks" in hair variety, one F. grill with plate crack outside design at bottom (1980 P.F. cert., couple nibbed perfs); few flaws, F.-V.F. overall.
