Left half of stamp with 2 ¢ black, single slightly overlapping, on cover to Easton, Pa., target canceled tying at right, matching "Reedsville, Pa., Nov 15" cds alongside, 1866 date docketing, Very Fine, a choice bisect usage and one of two known from correspondence, the other illustrated in Lane (pg. 22), ex Allen; with 1958 and 1997 P.F. certificates.

Left half of stamp, couple minute tears at top, tied by cork cancel on cover to Bennington, N.Y., with Hamilton, N.Y., Jul 6 origin cds alongside; some corner edge wear, F.-V.F., certificate declining opinion on whether this is a E. or F. grill due to the bisection, listed here as a E. grill as Scott does not list the F. grill as a vertical bisect used as 1¢, ex Ashbrook; with 2009 P.F. certificate.
