Jonathan Reed, endorsed "Publick Servis" at top, interesting contents regarding the requisition for troops to Rhode IslandAccording to resolve of Counsell and House of Representatives April 12, 1777 you are required forewith to draft out of your Company six men & forenish themselves with Armes, Auutremonts & Blanketts in Order to march Immediately to Rhode Island…, mentions soldier payment and penalty for neglect of the Continential Army; small internal hole and small tears at bottom, F.-V.F.
