Feb. 9, 1858" cds on locally addressed cover; trivial perf flaws and corner crease at top left from placement at edge of cover, Very Fine appearance, a very rare and attractive usage of the 1857, 1¢ Blue, Type Ia on cover, ex White.

1857, 1¢ blue, type III. Position 66R4, C relief, well centered single just barely in at bottom with margins around, on 1858 printed merchant circular notice to Suffield, Conn., tied by neat "Hartford, Ct." cds, Extremely Fine, a gem circular rate usage, very rare in such exceptional condition; with 2004 P.S.E. certificate.
