Latham including one to Genl. J.H. Denver at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas (with enclosure), 1863 cover from Spanish Ranch, Cal. to William H. Russell in Virginia City, N.T. with enclosure from sister (mentions Gould & Curry), mixed condition, Fine.

Four large margins, tied on large piece by blue "Wells, Fargo & Co./San Francisco" oval cancel, piece also includes the Wells Fargo printed frank (the black "Coast Routes" type rather than the red "Atlantic Express" type that is normally seen on full covers with this adhesive) with a "Paid Through" blue straight line handstamp and a U35 albino indicium; light toning, otherwise Extremely Fine, ex-Polland; with 2010 P.F. certificate.
