Two singles of different shades (small faults), used on the back of spectacular adversity cover fashioned from a book page center fold with manuscript cancel of "Covesville, Va. Feb 7" (1863), punch marks indicate pages were thread was tied and there are work notations on the pages of the educational instruction book from which it was made, addressed to Mrs. Wm. W. Minor of Charlottesville (well known influential family in the area) with original enclosure from N. J. Barwell, Very Fine, A Spectacular Showpiece, Ex-Knapp, Bleuler.
