Liberia, 1882, 8¢ Blue, Perf 11½. Canceled by six bar handstamp on fresh cover addressed to C. Woermann in Hamburg, Germany, with matching "Sinoe, Liberia, Dec 23, 1884" cds at left, stamp tied by two strikes of "Aus West - Africa, mit, Hamburger Dampfer" boxed handstamp, reverse with "Hamburg, 11/1, 85" receiving cds, Very Fine, an extraordinarily rare usage from Sinoe, Liberia sent on a Woermann Line vessel, with the earliest known example of this rare boxed ship cancel from Liberia.

Canceled by six bar cancel on "Executive Mansion, Monrovia" corner card cover to the President of the Royal Geographic Society of Antwerp, Belgium, with matching "Monrovia, Liberia, Jun 7, 1884" cds alongside, receiving backstamp; few cover tone spots and sealed corner tear at top left, otherwise Very Fine, a rare usage to Belgium.
