United States Collection, 1845-1930. Valuable assemblage neatly mounted on quadrille pages, with wide range of material from all periods to Washington Franklins; far too many highlights to enumerate, but note a few carriers & locals, 1847's 5¢ & 10¢ plus pair of #1, 1851 & 1857's (indeed for most 19th Century items) including extensive studies of cancels, varieties, shades, types, etc., with some duplication; values to 90¢ in most cases; 1869's complete used to 30¢, Bank Notes well represented (sparse in grills); small Bank Notes to $5, same for Bureau's; Trans-Miss complete fresh mint; Columbians used to 50¢; Washington-Franklin's to $2 & $5; mint E1-E4, etc; also note decent 3¢ Ayers Encased Postage example, group of proofs; needs much closer evaluation for all the cancels & varieties, generally F-VF or better, many nicely centered, please inspect.

Displayed in large Ne Plus Ultra Scott Specialty album, somewhat mixed quality but including issues from #1 onwards, mostly used classics & Bank Note's,Washington Franklin's mixed *&o, early commemoratives mostly mint, Columbians mint to $2 mixed quality; 20th Century includes mint Kansas Nebraska; back-of-the-book including quite full Officials, Revenues, Newspapers, some cut squares, and other miscellaneous; closer inspection recommended.

Quite powerful display housed in Scott Specialty album, lacking first issues but strong afterwards, with used 1861 2nd issues to 90¢, 1869's complete to 30¢, Bank Note's well represented including 90¢ grill #144, thereafter about complete through 90¢ purple; small Bank Note's & Bureau's with key values to $5, including mint (thin) 263, other high values used; Columbians complete mint ($2-$5 values quite faulty); Trans-Miss. mint to 10¢, used including decent $2; commemoratives thereafter virtually complete mint; Washington-Franklins lacking most coils but including to $5; nice 498-523, 1922 series complete and regulars afterwards; nice White Plains, airmails including C13 & C14 plus other back-of-the-book; over all mostly fresh, please evaluate closely.

Used collection in Heirloom album, 1851 issues including scarce #8 and 10¢ types, 1857 with better types including 5¢ issues with type I brick red, Indian red and brown shades, 10¢ types and higher values to the 30¢, 1861 issues with higher values present, 1867 grills with complete E. grills and F. grills to the 30¢, Pictorial missing only the 3¢, re-issues, good Banknotes including grills with 90¢ (small flaws, with A.P.S. certificate), other Banknotes with all high values present, Columbians with $1-$3 & $5 values, small bureaus with many dollar values present, Trans-Miss including $1 and 1902 definitives with complete dollar values; accompanied by 8 certificates, condition varied, worth review.
