1939 New York World's Fair Covers. Collection of about 150 items, mostly cacheted First Days Covers with many scarce designs and makers, including Crosby photo cachets, Torkel Gundel designs, etc; also a wide selection of ship cancels on Fleet Visit commemorative covers, many also by Crosby, celebrating the Fair; note some covers commemorating the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to the Fair; also some corporate advertising on covers; this collection should be examined by an Expo specialist (no photo).

1939 San Francisco World's Fair Covers. About 250 items, the vast majority being First Day Covers, encompassing a wide variety of cachets; some duplication but note many different Crosby photo cachets as well as many scarcer makers not often seen; also including some Opening Day and Closing Day covers, as well as other event covers during the span of the Fair; also some advertising and publicity material, a few picture postcards, etc; a wonderful cross section of items for this popular event, generally type addressed but including some unaddressed; closer inspection recommended (no photo).
