Left margin guideline single showing portion of stamp from other pane, deep color, tied by "San Francisco, Cal., Aug 24" cds on cover to Killingly, Conn., with fancy boxed Killingly, Ct., Sept 20 date stamp used as a receiving postmark; cover slightly reduced at right, Very Fine, an unusual and unique usage.

1859, 10¢ green, type V, horizontal strip of three. Each stamp with exceptional centering, tied by two strikes of "San Francisco, May 11, 1861" cds on folded letter sheet to Podensac, France, red "New York, 24, Jun 5" credit and Calais entry additionally tying strip, transit and receiving backstamps, Extremely Fine, a choice usage of a 1¢ overpayment of the 29¢ west coast rate.

Pkt., 3, Sep 15" exchange cds with integral rate smudged out and re-rated "12" in red manuscript, red "London, Paid, Sp 27, 60" transit and receiving backstamp; cover folded in at sides, Very Fine, a remarkable multiple 1860, 24¢ Gray Lilac franking paying the quadruple 24¢ rate to Ireland, ex Newbury.
