Peru, 1858, 1d deep blue, horizontal pair, ample to large margins and rich color, in combination with four margin 1858, 1p rose red on 1858 folded letter sheet to Lima, canceled by two strikes of "Yquiq" in dots cancel one tying 1p; light toning along horizontal file fold, still Very Fine, a lovely first issue combination usage, ex Schatzkes.

Peru, 1858, 1d deep blue, horizontal pair, large margins, tied by full neat "Lima" in dots cancel on 1858 cover to Genova, Italy, manuscript due markings applied upon arrival and red "Genova, Arrivo, 25 Nov, 58" boxed date stamp on reverse; slight staining and creasing at top of stamps, otherwise Very Fine, a very scarce overseas usage, ex Islander.
