To Paris, France, cover franked with 1866, 15¢ black canceled by manuscript cancel, "Bridgewater, Pa., Jun 18" origin cds, under paid double rate with lovely strike of "Insufficiently Paid" in oval handstamp and "Philadelphia, Pa., 18, Jun 19" debit cds, red Calais transit and "16" decimes due handstamp, Very Fine, It is rare to see outgoing mail from the Philadelphia Exchange office posted outside the city.

Pkt., 6, Apr 26" credit cds tying right 3¢ stamp, red Havre octagon date stamp, Very Fine, a rare on cover usage of the 1862, 24¢ Scratched Plate Variety, Illustrated in The Chronicle, 2001 v. 53, pages 11-14.
