Revenue, 1862-71 First Issue, 3¢ Playing Cards, Imperf, faintly cancelled, huge margins all around, rich deep color, tiny tone spots and small flaws including filled thin, Extremely Fine appearance, a Lovely Example of The Very Rare 3¢ Playing Cards Imperforate Issue; with 2012 P.F. certificate.

This issue, both perforated and imperforate, saw comparatively little use as the total issued was only 368,106. There is evidence that a mere 7,000 out of the total issued where in imperforate format.

Documentary, 1871 Second Issue, $500 Red, Orange, Green & Black, "Large Persian Rug", light violet manuscript and three strike of "Surrogates Office, New York" oval handstamp, wide margins, gorgeous rich colors, with only a small thin spot at upper left and free from any creasing that normally plague this oversized stamp, still Very Fine & Choice, A Wonderful Handstamped Example of the $500 Persian Rug Issue, With Condition Far Better Than Normally Encountered; with 1980 P.F. certificate.

Of the 204 examples issued, only a mere 67 examples are reported in the 1993 Kingsley census. Of these, only three are found with a handstamp cancellation that does not cut into the paper.

Revenue, 1862-71 First Issue, $3.50 Inland Exchange, Imperf, bottom margin single showing plate mark, light manuscript cancel, large to huge margins, rich deep color and sharp detailed impression, Extremely Fine and choice, a marvelous example of the $3.50 Inland Exchange imperforate issue and without a doubt one of the finest in existence; with 2012 P.F. certificate.

(with some disturbance), deep rich color, beautifully centered with wide top and bottom margins, small edge thin in bottom stamp, otherwise Extremely Fine, the largest known multiple of the Ring's Vegetable Ambrosia 4¢ Black Part Perforated on Silk Paper, a magnificent showpiece with only two multiples known, the other being a vertical pair, with only 15 examples recorded in the Aldrich census (of which 7 are reported to be faulty), Ex-Joyce.
