Belgium, Collection, 1858-1955, mint mounted on album pages with little used mostly confined to early issues; starting with used first issues, mint with 1858-61 values and complete 1863-65 perf'd issues, regular virtually complete thereon including mint Leopold issues (1875, 5fr used roller cancel), 1915-20 set, 1919 Albert set complete, better 1920-30's souvenir sheets with some duplication, etc., similar semi-postals with better set present including 1918 set, the unofficial crown over "L" overprints, etc., airmails, dues officials, strong parcel post & railway issues with many of the better high values present, including first issues, 1894, 2fr, 1920 set complete (cat $881), etc.; condition varied in early issues with nice fresh material throughout, owners cat in excess of $31,290.

Belgian Congo, Collection, 1886-1953, mint mounted on album pages with a few used; complete to approaching completion throughout starting with complete first issues and second issues including 5fr violet (cat $1,300) and 10fr (cat $625), 1894-1901 set complete (cat $557) and following commemorative sets almost all complete, semi postals appear complete, airs and dues, parcel post issues with used Q2 and mint Q3, etc., collection also includes Belgium East Africa issues in similar completion; condition varied in early issues with nice fresh material throughout, owners cat in excess of $5,480.
